Position Summary:

The Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse provides comprehensive, high-acuity care to critically ill and unstable patients. This role involves continuous assessment, monitoring, and management of complex medical conditions requiring advanced nursing interventions and the use of specialized equipment. The ICU RN administers and titrates critical medications, manages ventilators and life-support systems, and responds rapidly to changes in patient condition

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide continuous, high-acuity care to critically ill or unstable patients.
• Monitor vital signs, hemodynamics, cardiac rhythms, neurologic status, and respiratory function.
• Recognize and respond immediately to changes in patient condition.
• Manage ventilators and respiratory support equipment.
• Perform complex IV therapy, including central lines, arterial lines, and titratable drips (vasopressors, sedatives, inotropes).
• Assist with or perform procedures such as EKGs, bedside ultrasounds, and wound care.
• Support invasive procedures (intubations, chest tube insertions, central line placements).

Required Experience:

Must have a minimum of 2 years ICU experience
