This position offers SAME-DAY INTERVIEWS! Qualified candidates should be prepared to receive a call from a (405) area code. Overview: As a member of the interdisciplinary team, the Registered Nurse contributes professional nursing knowledge and skills to deliver and manage patient care through the nursing process. Radius Rule: Locals within 50 miles are accepted Local rate applies: 10% bill rate reduction Orientation: Non-billable orientation: 16 hours System & Pay Details: EMR: EPIC OT/Holiday Multiplier: 1.15x Call Back: 1.5x (2-hour minimum) On-Call Rate: $9/hr Charge/Precept: $6/hr Billable Overtime: For 36–40 hrs/week schedules → OT billable after 40 hrs For 48 hrs/week schedules → OT billable after 48 hrs 2025 Holiday Requirements: Must work 2 of 3 winter holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year’s) RTO limits: Only 1 day off allowed between 11/26/25–11/30/25 12/23/25–1/2/26 (Applies to all travelers regardless of holiday assignments) Floating Requirements: Will float across all Des Moines campuses to like units as needed.
