Radiation badge must be supplied and in hand prior to start Department: IR (Interventional Radiology Tech) Certifications Required: BLS, ARRT, NDMIRT Submission Process: Profile review + manager interview Department Details # of Suites/Labs: 2 labs Average Cases per Day: 5–10 Common Diagnoses/Procedures: Inpatient, outpatient, and emergent cases including stroke thrombectomy, embolizations, lines, tubes, visceral procedures, paracentesis, thoracentesis, fluoroscopy, etc. No CT or ultrasound duties for techs. Job Duties: Panning and scrubbing Required Skills: Must have scrubbing experience EMR/Equipment: EPIC, Philips Xper (Hemo), Siemens C-Arm Staffing & Coverage Interventionalist Hours/On-Call: Intensivist MD onsite 24/7; IR MD always available; on-call coverage after hours Leadership: Team Lead present and working in the lab; Supervisor (Courtney) and lead approve timecards Shift & Scheduling Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM Scheduling: Team scheduling; posted 17 days in advance Weeknight Call: 1–2 days per week, 7:30–4:00 if on call Weekend Call: Every 3rd weekend Holiday Call: Every other holiday Call Response Time: 30 minutes Additional Requirements Floating: Radiology pre/post as needed Scrub Color/Dress Code: Provided Orientation: One week (classroom and lab) Additional Notes: Lead apron provided; bring your own locker lock and hospital-designated shoes Compliance & Radius Radius Rule: 50 miles Candidate Restrictions: Cannot be full-time, part-time, or PRN with any CommonSpirit facility (including CHI or Dignity) RTO: Must be submitted up front (maximum 7 days per 13-week contract).
