Department: OR Important Requirement: RN must provide written confirmation that they have researched housing, approve the pay package, are fully committed to the assignment, and will sign the offer within 24 hours. Unit: Surgical Services – OR RN (Floor 2) Facility Overview Faster-paced resort-town hospital with robust surgical services. High volume in orthopedics, sports medicine, and robotics. Candidates must have endo experience or C-section experience. Unit Details # of OR Suites: 4 Additional Suite: 1 Endoscopy suite Average Cases per Day: ~8 Required Certifications BLS ACLS recommended Common Surgical Cases Ortho: Total joints, sports medicine, hands, trauma General surgery GYN C-Sections Endoscopy Required Experience Minimum 3 years of OR RN experience Strong Ortho background required Endoscopy experience required Must have previous travel experience Scrubbing by RN is NOT required Staffing & Support Charge Nurse & ANM are present OR Techs: CSTs and RNs who scrub Orderlies support room turnover All OR staff assist with room turnover EMR: Epic Additional systems: TDOC (instrument tracking), ProVation (Endoscopy) Schedule & Call Requirements Shift: Monday–Friday, 8-hour shifts (typically 07:00–15:30) May adjust as needed Weeknight Call: 15:30–07:00 Typically 4 weeknights per month (may increase with low staffing) Weekend Call: Usually 1 full weekend per month 07:00 Saturday – 07:00 Monday Holiday Call: Traveler may be assigned if a holiday falls within contract dates Call Response Time: Must be within 30 minutes of the hospital while on call Floating Requirements OR team also covers Endoscopy CSTs must have some SPD and HLD experience Dress Code Blue scrubs provided by Surgical Services per policy OR-appropriate footwear required Orientation 5 days of unit-specific orientation with a preceptor Includes Unit Norms and System Values review Date Entered: 7/7/25
