Job Opportunity: CST/ORT Travel Position

Location: Florence, Alabama
Employment Type: Travel

Position Details

• Specialty: CST/ORT (Certified Surgical Technologist / Operating Room Technician)
• Shift: 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM
• Weekly Hours: 40+ hours plus call
• Call Schedule: 7 days on, 7 days off (call only on weekends)
• Number of Openings: 2
• Unit: CVOR (Cardiovascular Operating Room)
• Trauma Level: Level III
• Patient Population: Adult and Geriatric
• Patient Ratios: 1:1
• Equipment Used: Heart/lung machine, cell saver, Doppler, TEE
• Electronic Health Record (EHR): Meditech ORM

Requirements

• Years of Experience: Minimum 2 years in CST/ORT specialty
• CVOR Experience: At least 1 year of CVOR experience required, including both Cardiac and Vascular cases
• Certifications: CST Certification required
• Education: Associate Degree in Nursing (AND Nursing) required
• Skills:

  • Must have multi-year experience in vascular and CVOR preferred
  • Experience with common diagnoses/treatments such as CAD, PVD, CHF, and Valvular disease
• Personality Fit: Fast-paced, high volume environment

Contract Length

• Duration: 13 weeks
