Cardiovascular Radiologic Technologist – Travel Assignment

Location: Portland, OR

Shift: Day, 4x10-hour (07:00 – 17:00)

Job Summary

The Cardiovascular Radiologic Technologist aids physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of heart, lung, and blood vessel disorders by conducting invasive and non-invasive diagnostic tests of cardiovascular and pulmonary systems. This role involves operating x-ray and physiological equipment, assisting with diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, and maintaining equipment and records.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians with cardiovascular procedures and therapeutic interventions
• Operate specialized imaging equipment, selecting and modifying technical factors as needed
• Monitor, record, and evaluate patient vital signs during procedures
• Ensure radiation safety standards and patient protection protocols are followed
• Maintain sterile techniques and adhere to infection control procedures
• Operate and maintain cardiac catheterization equipment, including C-Arm angiographic injectors and patient monitoring systems
• Troubleshoot and perform preventive maintenance on equipment
• Support cardiologists and radiologists during catheterization, imaging, and administration of contrast media
• Complete required documentation and charge records for procedures
• Maintain a clean, stocked, and organized work environment

Requirements

• Associate’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and related experience (preferred)
• Minimum of one year of catheterization experience (preferred)
• ARRT-R certification (required)
• Oregon Board of Medical Imaging Radiologic Technologist License (required)
• CPR/BLS certification (required)
• ACLS certification (required)
