We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Cath Lab Registered Nurse (RN) for a critical Long-Term Assignment (LTA). This role is essential to our Cardiac Catherization Department and requires immediate placement.

Role and Responsibilities:

The Cath Lab RN will provide specialized, direct patient care to adult and geriatric populations undergoing diagnostic and therapeutic cardiovascular procedures. Key responsibilities include:

Providing direct patient care, addressing the psychosocial, physical, and general aspects of care related to the surgical environment.
Continuously communicating with the physician about the patient's condition.
Monitoring physiologic and hemodynamic data as related to diagnostic and/or therapeutic procedures performed in the cardiovascular lab.
Monitoring and recording the patient's condition continuously while in the Cardiovascular Lab.
Assessing procedure room or equipment functioning and readiness.
Obtaining supplies for individual cases and ensuring all appropriate needs of the Cardiovascular Laboratory team are met.
Assisting with the maintenance of equipment and inventory.
Participating in performance improvement and continuous quality improvement activities.

Qualifications and Requirements:

Education: BSN preferred.
License: Active state RN license required.
Certifications:
- Current BLS (AHA) required.
- ACLS certificate upon start and must be maintained current.
Experience: One (1) year of clinical experience in a Cardiovascular Lab doing cardiac work or in a Critical Care area is required.
