Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Cath Lab Registered Nurse (RN) for a critical Long-Term Assignment (LTA). This role is essential to our Cardiac Catherization Department and requires immediate placement.

Role and Responsibilities:
The Cath Lab RN will provide specialized, direct patient care to adult and geriatric populations undergoing diagnostic and therapeutic cardiovascular procedures. Key responsibilities include:
- Providing direct patient care, addressing the psychosocial, physical, and general aspects of care related to the surgical environment.
- Continuously communicating with the physician about the patient's condition.
- Monitoring physiologic and hemodynamic data as related to diagnostic and/or therapeutic procedures performed in the cardiovascular lab.
- Monitoring and recording the patient's condition continuously while in the Cardiovascular Lab.
- Assessing procedure room or equipment functioning and readiness.
- Obtaining supplies for individual cases and ensuring all appropriate needs of the Cardiovascular Laboratory team are met.
- Assisting with the maintenance of equipment and inventory.
- Participating in performance improvement and continuous quality improvement activities.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Education: BSN preferred.
- License: Active state RN license required.
- Certifications:
- Current BLS (AHA) required.
- ACLS certificate upon start and must be maintained current.
- Experience: One (1) year of clinical experience in a Cardiovascular Lab doing cardiac work or in a Critical Care area is required.
