Description

Job Responsibilities

Provide full-scope PICU nursing care using the nursing process: assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating, and documenting.
Maintain safe, efficient, patient-centered care for an assigned group of pediatric patients.
Administer meds/treatments per provider orders or protocols; document per policy.
Coordinate care with families and the interdisciplinary team.
Participate in discharge planning and patient/family teaching.
Provide clinical oversight for LPNs and assistive personnel.
Complete all required competencies and age-specific training.

Requirements 2+ years recent PICU experience in a 12+ bed unit 1+ completed 13-week travel assignment Team-oriented, flexible, fast-paced clinician Preferred: Pediatric CVICU + EPIC experience Education ADN or ASN required Certs & License NM or Compact RN License BLS, ACLS, PALS (AHA, AH&S, or Red Cross)
