Assignment Details

Start Date: ASAP
Schedule: 5x8 Days (40 hours/week)
Weekend Requirement: Yes
On-Call Requirement: No
Guaranteed Hours: 72 hours per 2 weeks
- Traveler may be called off for one (1) 8-hour shift per 2-week pay period
Locals Accepted: No — permanent address must be at least 50 miles from the facility
RTO: All requested time off must be included at time of submission

Experience & Requirements

Minimum Experience: 1 year
First-Time Travelers: Accepted
Required Certifications:
- BLS
- Alaska SLP License (must be in hand; pending licenses not accepted)
Skills Required: As outlined in the unit description (UD)

Unit Information

Daily census of 50–70 patients
Staffing:
- Weekdays: 5–6 SLPs
- Weekends: 3–4 SLPs
FEES and MBS performed
All SLPs must complete MBS-IMP
Patient population spans ICU-level to SNF/outpatient-level care
ICU rotation is not required; clinicians will be assessed for clinical readiness if ICU coverage is needed
