Submission Requirements Only 1 submission at a time allowed across the entire WVU system Driver’s license address must be 50+ miles from the facility Former perm staff must be gone 2 years Former travelers (after 1 full year assignment) must be gone 2 years Unit-specific requirements listed in Pulse apply Travel teams must be submitted together in one email Only 2 candidates per opening may be submitted; additional submissions will be held until a slot opens All background hits must be disclosed at the time of submission Agency must provide a radiation badge to traveler before start Radiology – Radiation Therapist / Radiation Oncology Required Certifications BLS ARRT WV State License Any required specialty certifications Department Details Equipment: 1 CT Simulation Scanner 1 Linear Accelerator GE Lightspeed Varian 2100 IX EMR/PACS: ARIA and EPIC Radiology Supervisor/Lead: Briana Sisler RRA Use: None Physician Coverage: Radiation Oncologist or covering physician available during treatment hours Job Duties / Skills Image-guided radiation therapy CBCT Administer external beam radiation as prescribed Must have experience with Varian linear accelerators No IV starts required No floating to other areas Patient Volume 30–35 therapeutic treatments per day 3–5 CT simulations daily Schedule Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM Minimal overtime as needed No weekends No holidays (department closed on major holidays) No call or standby Traveler will not be the only tech in-house Scrub Color / Dress Code Solid colors allowed; navy blue not permitted Scrubs not provided
