Description

Job Description:

Demonstrates knowledge of surgical procedures.
Verifies items on pick lists.
Assures all equipment, instruments, and supplies are ready for procedure.
Retrieves and decontaminates surgical instruments and patient care equipment.
Accountable for supplies to ensure accurate patient billing.
Demonstrates proper use of equipment as well as cleaning and sterilizing. Compiles the supplies and instrumentation for surgical cases.
Other duties as assigned.
