Description

Minimum Requirements:

High School Diploma or Equivalent
Successful Completion of a 24-mnth AMA approved School of Radiologic Technology
Current state licensure or certification, if required by state regulations or contract specifications
One (1) year experience in Interventional Radiology preferred.
Current BLS card.
Current physical exam, if required by state regulations or contract specifications.
Current TB test or chest x-ray.

Certifications: ARRT (Radiography), ARRT-VI (preferred), BLS (AHA only) Experience: Minimum 2 years in Interventional Radiology or Cath Lab Ability to work independently and maintain composure under stress Strong knowledge of sterile techniques and radiation safety protocols Preferred Skills: Experience in vascular/interventional procedures Familiarity with PACS and EMR systems Ability to serve as a preceptor for new team members
