Job Title: MRI Tech
Location: Ogden, UT
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: 10 /hours Night, 40 Hrs GH.


Job Description:

• Perform MRI exams following department protocols and radiologist instructions
• Ensure proper patient ID, prep, and safety (including contrast administration)
• Demonstrate strong knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and scanning techniques
• Operate MRI equipment and related systems efficiently
• Maintain accurate documentation, image storage, and quality control standards
• Follow MRI safety policies, including FOUR ZONE safety and emergency procedures
• Troubleshoot scanner and system issues as needed
• Practice proper infection control and sterile technique

Requirements:

• Experience: 1+ year in MRI
• Licenses/Certifications:
  • ARRT Registered Technologist
  • Utah State License (if applicable, for RX administration)
  • BLS Certification
• Post-Hire Requirements:
  • IV certification within 3 months
  • Controlled substance & moderate sedation training within 6 months (if applicable)

Preferred:

• ARRT MR certification (preferred, not required)
• Experience with electronic imaging systems and quality image processing
