Registered Nurse – Endoscopy (Travel Assignment)

Location: Glenwood Springs, CO 81601 

Specialty: Endoscopy RN 

Start Date: December 30, 2025 

Assignment Duration: 13 weeks 

Shift: 4x10-hour day shifts with rotating evening, night, and weekend call

Job Summary

The Endoscopy RN plans, coordinates, and delivers safe nursing care in the Endoscopy unit. This role requires expertise in both pre/post care and scrub/tech responsibilities for endoscopic procedures. The RN will collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to ensure patient safety, quality outcomes, and continuity of care.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care for patients undergoing endoscopic procedures.
• Perform pre- and post-procedure assessments and interventions.
• Assist with scrub/tech responsibilities during endoscopic procedures.
• Coordinate patient care to ensure timeliness, quality, and safety.
• Educate patients and families regarding procedures and recovery.
• Document patient care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines.
• Participate in rotating evening, night, and weekend call coverage.

Requirements

• Licensure: Current Colorado RN license or ability to obtain prior to start.
• Certifications:
  • BLS – American Heart Association (required)
  • ACLS – American Heart Association (required)
  • Current flu vaccine (no exemptions)
• Experience:
  • Minimum of 2 years RN experience in Endoscopy.
  • Required experience in both pre/post care and scrub/tech responsibilities for endoscopic procedures.
