Description

Registered Respiratory Therapist (Travel)

Location: Helena, MT 59601
Department: – Respiratory Therapy
Contract Dates: 01/04/2026 – 04/04/2026
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Shift: Rotating Days & Nights (must be flexible)
Guaranteed Hours: 36/week
On-Call: Yes – may be required every 6th–8th weekend
EMR: Epic
Scrubs: No required color

Job Description

Registered Respiratory Therapist needed for full-scope acute care coverage across NICU, ICU, and inpatient units, plus outpatient EKGs. Must be capable of working independently in all areas. Prior travel experience preferred.

Requirements

Experience

Minimum 2+ years acute care hospital experience
Ability to work in ALL areas: NICU → ICU → inpatient → outpatient EKG

Licensure & Credentials

Active Montana RT license – Required
CRT or RRT credential – Required

Certifications

BLS – Required
ACLS – Required
PALS – Required
NRP – Required

Contract Details

OT Rules (Allied)

Daily OT after 24 hours (based on differential)
Weekly OT after 40 hours (based on differential)

Compliance & Submission Requirements

50-mile radius rule applies
ALL RTO or schedule requests must be included at submission
- No approvals after submission
