Description

Ultrasound Technologist – Vascular (Days)
Shift: Days | 10:00 AM – 6:30 PM (M–F)
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hrs/week
Weekend Requirement: Every Other Weekend
On-Call: Weekday & Weekend Call as Scheduled
Holidays: Required.

Key Responsibilities

(60%) Produce high-quality diagnostic images using proper technical factors, equipment, and transducer settings.
Verify orders, assess exam appropriateness, obtain patient history, and communicate procedure details.
Use independent judgment to evaluate normal vs. pathological findings.
(20%) Operate sonographic equipment independently and manage daily workflow, patient schedules, equipment upkeep, and QA processes. Maintain a clean environment and adequate supplies.
(20%) Apply appropriate sterilization techniques; maintain accurate documentation in both paper and electronic systems.
Ensure compliance with Joint Commission standards and state/federal regulations.
Provide professional, compassionate, and patient-centered care at all times.

Requirements

✔ 2+ years of Ultrasound experience – Required
✔ General & Vascular Ultrasound proficiency – Required
✔ ARDMS certification – Required
✔ Abdominal & OB experience – Required
✔ BLS (AHA) – Required
