Description

• Shift:  Nights 1845-0715
• Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
• Weekend Hours: Yes
• Call Requirements: No
• Required Certifications: BLS, NRP

• Years of Experience: 2+ years level 3 or 4 NICU experience
• Float Requirements: possibly to mother baby or pediatrics, but not likely as our census is high, last set of travelers were here 6 months and never floated

Unit Information:

• Number of Beds: 25 plus overflow beds on the pediatric floor
• Patient Ratios: depends upon patient acuity, usually: 3 feeders, 2 CPAP, 1 nitric, 1 cooling
• Equipment: N/A
• EMR: EPIC

Hiring Profile:

• Must Have Skills/Experience: Caring for level 3 NICU infants to include: High Frequency vents, conventional vents, CPAP, NIMV, HFNC, Nitric, whole body cooling, OG/NG/PO feedings, UAC, UVC, PICC, PIV, attending high risk deliveries, attending all cesarean section deliveries

• Preferred Skillset/Experience: STABLE certification  
• Type of Patients on Unit: NICU
