Description
• Position Role (RN, Tech, LPN, PT, etc.): Nuclear Medicine Technologist
• Specialty: Nuclear Medicine
• Number of Openings: 1
• Shift Hours including days of the week and specific hours: 6:30am to 3:00pm Monday through Friday
• Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 40
• Weekend Hours: see below
• Call Requirements / Holiday coverage: On Call Saturday and Sunday 7:00am to 7:00pm
• Required Certifications: CNMT and /or ARRT (NM), Indiana State Nuclear Medicine License, BLS, Associate’s Degree required or Bachelor’s preferred.
• Years of Experience: New Graduates welcome
• Float Requirements: PET/CT scanner at cancer center
• Equipment: 2-Siemens Symbia Intevo Excel SPECT/CT and GE PET/CT (currently) new PET scanner in 2026
• EMR: EPIC
• Must Have Skills/Experience: New Graduates welcome

• Type of Patients on Unit: The Nuclear Medicine Technologist is responsible for the execution of Nuclear Medicine procedures. This position prepares, administers, and measures radioactive isotopes in therapeutic, diagnostic, and tracer studies using a variety of radioisotope equipment. This position prepares stock solutions of radioactive materials and calculates doses to be administered by a nuclear medicine technologist under the direction of an authorized user as well as executes blood volume, red cell survival, and fat absorption studies following standard laboratory techniques. The Technologist maintains optimum timeliness, accuracy, proficiency, efficiency, and safety during the execution of duties, and demonstrates initiative and ingenuity regarding the administration of radiopharmaceuticals to render optimum images.
