Description
Job Title: Certified Surgical Technologist (CVOR) - Cardiac & Vascular Specialty
Location: Boston, MA
Duration: 13 weeks
Start Date: 01/05/2026
End Date: 04/04/2026
Shift: 4x10s Days (Primary schedule 6:45a - 5:15p, with weekly variations)
Schedule & Call Requirements
- Core Schedule: 4 ten-hour shifts per week. Primary start is 6:45 AM.
- Weekly Variation: One shift per week (Wednesday) starts at 7:30 AM.
- Call Schedule (MANDATORY):
- One full weekend call per month: Friday 7:00 PM through Monday 7:00 AM (30-minute response time).
- One overnight call per week: For cardiac/transplant/endovascular (e.g., 7:00p/7:30p to 6:45a/7:00a).
- One short call per week: One 2-hour CVI short call shift (e.g., 5:15p-7:15p).
- Holidays: Eligible to work any holiday that falls during the contract period.
Mandatory Requirements & Certifications
- Certification: NBSTSA (CST) Certification is REQUIRED.
- Experience: Minimum 2+ years of recent, related CVOR experience.
- Surgical Specialty Experience:
- MUST HAVE proficient experience in cardiac surgery and cardiac transplant surgery.
- MUST HAVE proficient experience in valve replacement surgery.
- Required experience in open vascular/endovascular, thoracic (including robotics), and general surgery.
- Certification: American Heart Association BLS (Basic Life Support).
EHR/Computer Skills: Basic computer familiarity and ability to navigate web-based applications.
