Position Overview
A New Hampshire facility is seeking an experienced RN to work across Progressive Care, Telemetry, and Med-Surg patient populations. Nurses must be comfortable caring for a wide acuity range from newborn through geriatric patients. Strong telemetry and dysrhythmia skills are essential.
Shift & Patient Ratios
- Day or Night Shift
- RN-to-patient ratio:
- 5:1 for standard Med-Surg/Tele
- 3:1 or 4:1 for higher-acuity PCU patients
- Every other weekend and holiday required
- No call
Experience Requirements
- Minimum 3+ years PCU, Telemetry, and Med-Surg experience
- Telemetry and basic dysrhythmia interpretation required
- Prior travel experience highly preferred
- Rural/small facility experience highly preferred
- Must have reliable personal vehicle for commuting
- Must include permanent address in profile (for mileage rule)
Certifications Required
- BLS (AHA)
- ACLS (AHA)
Submission Requirements
- Resume with complete, up-to-date work history
- Dysrhythmia test (must be included in profile)
- Active New Hampshire RN license or Compact license
- All RTO must be included before submission
- Only 5 days or fewer allowed for a 13-week assignment
- No RTO changes or additions after submission
- No block scheduling or special accommodations
- Facility will not consider travelers working another job concurrently
Patient Population
- Newborn through geriatric
- Mix of PCU, Telemetry, and Med-Surg acuities
Additional Details
- No non-billable orientation
- No call or call-back
- Holiday/O.T. multipliers paid
- Cannot live within 50 miles of facility
