Travel Registered Nurse – Operating Room (OR)

Position Overview

A healthcare facility in Lancaster, NH is seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week travel assignment. This role involves circulating in a variety of surgical specialties and participating in regular call rotations. Candidates must meet all requirements and be comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented surgical environment.

Shift & Call Details

• Shift: 5x8-hour Day shifts
• Call: 2–3 days per week plus every 3rd weekend
• On-site position (0% remote)

Requirements

Experience

• Minimum 2 years of recent hospital experience – Required

• OR circulate experience in the following specialties – Required:

  • Orthopedics (including total hips & total knees)
  • General Surgery
  • GYN
  • Podiatry
  • Urology
  • ENT
  • Endoscopy

   

• Skills – Required:
  • Arterial line management
  • Central line management
  • IV starts
  • Ventilator & BiPAP experience

Certifications

• PALS (AHA) – Required
• ACLS (AHA) – Preferred/Recommended
• BLS (AHA) – Required

Education

• BSN preferred

Other Requirements

• Previous travel nurse experience – Preferred
• No locals permitted; permanent address must be 50+ miles from the facility
• All RTO must be submitted upfront (limit to 5 days)
• Compact license accepted
