Description

Evening Shift | 3p–11:30p (Mon–Fri)

Certifications: ASCP required; NAACLS program preferred

Shift Details

3:00 pm – 11:30 pm, Monday–Friday
Flex start between 2:30 pm–4:00 pm
Must be willing to occasionally start at 8:00 am when needed
Hours remain consistent once finalized

Requirements

ASCP-certified Pathologists’ Assistant
NAACLS-accredited program preferred
Prior experience in surgical grossing required
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
Excellent communication and organizational skills

Key Responsibilities Examine, describe, and dissect gross surgical specimens Triage tissues for special studies Assist pathologists with frozen sections as needed Maintain QA/QC procedures, logs, forms, and manuals Prepare statistical reports and ensure documentation accuracy Collaborate with pathologists, lab leadership, and clinical teams
