Pharmacist – Outpatient Hospital Setting
Location: Peridot, AZ

MedAdventures is seeking a skilled and patient-focused Outpatient Pharmacist to join a hospital outpatient department in Peridot, AZ for a 13-week contract. This is a great opportunity to support a dynamic healthcare team while providing direct medication services to patients in a fast-paced, community-centered environment.

Your Responsibilities:

Accurately dispense medications for outpatient/hospital-discharged patients
Review medication orders for safety, accuracy, and therapeutic appropriateness
Provide patient counseling, medication education, and adherence support
Maintain accurate documentation and uphold regulatory and hospital standards
Collaborate with providers, nurses, and clinical teams to optimize patient care

Qualifications:

Active Arizona Pharmacist license (or eligibility to obtain)
Experience in outpatient, retail, or hospital pharmacy preferred
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
