Traveler Weekly Blended Pay : $3,478 weekly ($46/hr w2 + $1,638 week stipend)

Locals Hourly Pay : $75/Hour

Position Summary:

• The Special Procedures Technician plays an important and specialized role in the medical field. This position requires a unique skill set and will provide the opportunity to work with a variety of patients. The employee will be asked to assist in a wide range of medical treatments and procedures, such as interventional radiology, angiography, and Electrocardiograms (ECGs). A successful individual will have extensive knowledge of specialized medical equipment and protocols, as it is integral to the role. Key Responsibilities:

• Perform and assist with specialized imaging procedures, such as angiography, venography, and interventional radiology.
• Operate and maintain advanced imaging equipment like fluoroscopes, CT scanners, and MRI machines
• Prepare patients for procedures, explaining the process, and answering any questions they may have
• Monitor patients during procedures, ensuring their safety and comfort
• Work closely with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate imaging and diagnosis.
• Maintain detailed patient records and documentation of procedures.
• Ensure compliance with all safety standards and regulations pertaining to radiation and imaging.
• Calibrate and troubleshoot imaging equipment, ensuring it is functioning correctly.
• Assist during medical emergencies and provide immediate care as needed.

Required Qualifications:

• 2 years of experience
• ARRT R, BLS, CCI RCIS, State licensed
