Job Summary

A healthcare organization is seeking a skilled CT Technologist to perform high-quality computed tomography (CT) imaging to support physicians in diagnosing and treating medical conditions. This position requires strong technical expertise, patient-centered care, and strict adherence to safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, position, and ensure comfort and safety of patients undergoing CT scans.
• Clearly explain imaging procedures and address patient questions.
• Operate CT scanners to acquire high-quality diagnostic images.
• Administer contrast agents under physician supervision.
• Monitor patients for reactions or complications during procedures.
• Review and evaluate image quality for diagnostic accuracy.
• Maintain complete and accurate patient records and documentation.
• Clean, calibrate, and maintain CT equipment.
• Follow all radiation safety guidelines to protect patients and staff.
• Collaborate effectively with radiologists and the healthcare team.
• Stay current with updates in CT imaging technology and best practices.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
• ARRT certification in Radiography and CT required.
• State licensure (as applicable).
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
• 1–2 years of clinical experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
• Experience with PACS and radiology information systems.
• Excellent communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Strong commitment to patient care, professionalism, and work ethic.

Essential Requirements

• Associate’s degree or higher in Radiologic Technology.
• Active state licensure and ARRT/CT certification.
• Ability to recognize and respond to hazardous conditions and maintain safety.
• Knowledge of medical equipment and instruments used in CT imaging.
• Strong teamwork and communication with radiologists and clinical departments.
• Effective relationship-building skills with patients, staff, and visitors.
• Flexibility in scheduling as needed.

Compensation & Schedule

• Hourly rate: $37–$40 (with possible flexibility for exceptional candidates).
• Georgia: No weekends; straightforward weekday daytime schedule.

  • Shifts may begin as early as 6:00 AM or end around 6:00 PM.
  • No on-call.
  • One Saturday half-day rotation per month.
