Description

General job duties:

Under the direction of the Director operates diagnostic ultrasound equipment and produces cardiac images according to policy/protocol.
Examinations performed include adult echocardiograms, stress echocardiograms, contrast echocardiograms and transesophageal echocardiograms.
Responsible for assuring a high level of quality in all exams and providing the interpreting physician with all the necessary information in order to make an accurate diagnosis.
Collaborates with other departments to provide procedures in a timely and efficient manner for all involved.

Equipment utilized in the unit/dept: Philips IE33 and Philips Epiq. Epic EMR
