We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Echo Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment at Landmark Medical Center (LMC) in Rhode Island. This is an excellent opportunity to join a vital Cardiology department and contribute your expertise in a supportive environment.

📅 Contract and Schedule:

• Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
• Shift: Days
• Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM
• Hours Per Week: 40 hours
• On-Call: Required. Participation in night and weekend call rotations is mandatory.
• Weekends: Call only.

🔬 Qualifications and Requirements:

• Certification/Registration: Must be currently registered by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or an equivalent certifying body (e.g., CCI).
• Certifications: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
• Experience: Minimum 1 year of professional experience as an Echo Technologist is required (Traveler experience preferred but not mandatory).

🏥 Key Responsibilities:

The Echo Technologist will be responsible for performing various non-invasive, cardiac ultrasound procedures to assist in the diagnosis of heart conditions. Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Performing high-quality transthoracic echocardiograms (TTE).
• Assisting with stress echocardiograms and/or Transesophageal Echocardiograms (TEE) as needed.
• Accurately measuring, calculating, and documenting study results.
• Maintaining echocardiography equipment and ensuring proper calibration.
• Collaborating effectively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare team members.
• Adhering to hospital policies, safety standards, and infection control procedures.
• Responding promptly and professionally to all assigned call duties.
