Description
Job Title: OB/GYN Sonographer
Job Type: Full-Time
Location: Bronx, NY
Responsibilities:
- Prepare exam rooms and ultrasound equipment for OB/GYN procedures.
- Perform obstetric and gynecologic ultrasound scans and capture accurate images.
- Assist with ultrasound-guided biopsies and related procedures.
- Maintain and care for sonography equipment; report any malfunctions promptly.
- Document findings and prepare detailed reports based on scan results.
- Alert medical staff to urgent abnormalities requiring immediate attention.
- Work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Maintain confidentiality and uphold professional standards.
Qualifications:
- Graduate in Sonography, Radiology, or Medical Imaging Technology.
- Experience in OB/GYN sonography strongly preferred.
- Strong communication and analytical skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities.
