Job Title: Progressive Care Unit Registered Nurse (PCU RN)
Location: Great Falls, MT
Shift: Days
Employment Type: Travel Contract (Option for Temp-to-Perm)

Requirements

Experience

Minimum 2 years of PCU experience required
3 years PCU experience preferred
Travel nursing experience required

Licensure & Certifications

Active RN license valid in the state of Montana (MT is a compact state)
Basic Life Support (BLS) – Required
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) – Required
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) – Required
EPNC and TNCC – Preferred

Skills & Knowledge

Clinical & Technical Skills

Use of basic office equipment and multiple IV pumps
Operation of advanced medical equipment, including:
- Arterial lines (A-lines)
- Invasive lines
- Chest tubes
- Noninvasive and invasive ventilatory support devices
Basic cardiac telemetry monitoring and EKG interpretation
Strong understanding of Advanced Nursing Principles and Procedures

Preferred Clinical Background

Pediatric experience
Post–heart catheterization care experience
