Job Title: Progressive Care Unit Registered Nurse (PCU RN)
Location: Great Falls, MT
Shift: Days
Employment Type: Travel Contract (Option for Temp-to-Perm)
Requirements
Experience
- Minimum 2 years of PCU experience required
- 3 years PCU experience preferred
- Travel nursing experience required
Licensure & Certifications
- Active RN license valid in the state of Montana (MT is a compact state)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) – Required
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) – Required
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) – Required
- EPNC and TNCC – Preferred
Skills & Knowledge
Clinical & Technical Skills
- Use of basic office equipment and multiple IV pumps
- Operation of advanced medical equipment, including:
- Arterial lines (A-lines)
- Invasive lines
- Chest tubes
- Noninvasive and invasive ventilatory support devices
- Basic cardiac telemetry monitoring and EKG interpretation
- Strong understanding of Advanced Nursing Principles and Procedures
Preferred Clinical Background
- Pediatric experience
- Post–heart catheterization care experience
