Description

RN – Med Surg / Telemetry
Location: City, State
Hours: 36 hrs/week

Shift: (3 x 12) or (4 x 12) Nights • Every other weekend
EMR: Cerner

Requirements

BLS, ACLS required
Must pass Basic Dysrhythmia Test-Out during week 1
Telemetry self-study required before start
Comfortable floating; critical care experience may float to CCU

Key Responsibilities

Deliver patient care utilizing assessment, planning, implementation, intervention, and evaluation.
Provide safe and effective care to adult, geriatric, Med Surg, and Telemetry patients.
Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Monitor and interpret telemetry rhythms; respond to changes in patient status.
Maintain high standards of professional nursing and patient communication.
Float to all non-critical care inpatient units as needed, including the Emergency Department for boarded patients.
Nurses with critical care experience may occasionally float to CCU.
