Job Title: Ultrasound Technologist – Per Diem (Breast, General & OB/GYN)
Location: Bronx, NY
Job Type: Per Diem / As Needed
Pay Range: $40–$70 per hour (based on experience and certifications)
 

Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and patient-focused Ultrasound Technologist to join our diagnostic imaging team on a per diem basis. The ideal candidate will be proficient in Breast, General, and OB/GYN ultrasound procedures and committed to delivering high-quality imaging services in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality diagnostic ultrasound examinations, including Breast, General, and OB/GYN studies.
• Ensure accurate image acquisition and proper documentation within patient records.
• Collaborate with radiologists and clinical staff to support timely and accurate diagnosis.
• Maintain patient comfort, safety, and confidentiality throughout the imaging process.
• Follow all departmental protocols, quality standards, and regulatory guidelines.
• Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, reporting any issues promptly.
• Assist with workflow needs, scheduling, or patient preparation as required.

Qualifications:

• ARDMS certification in OB/GYN, Breast, or Abdomen (at least one required; multiple registries preferred).
• Minimum of 1 year of clinical ultrasound experience preferred.
• Strong proficiency in breast, general, and OB/GYN sonography.
• Current BLS certification (AHA).
• Excellent patient care and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a per diem, variable-schedule environment.

Work Setting:

• Outpatient clinic or hospital-based imaging department in the Bronx.
• Flexible per diem scheduling based on department needs.

Compensation:

• $40–$70 per hour, depending on experience and credentials.
