Travel Pay Rate: (above 50 miles)
- Hourly:$34.5/hr W2 + $1,580/week (non - taxable stipend)
- Gross:$2,960/weekly

Position Summary:
Seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU), providing high-quality recovery care to patients emerging from surgical and procedural anesthesia. The RN will assess airway, breathing, hemodynamic stability, pain control, and overall recovery progression while ensuring patient safety and comfort. This role requires strong critical-thinking skills, rapid assessment ability, and effective collaboration in a fast-paced surgical environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor post-operative patients for airway patency, vitals, consciousness level, and pain control.
- Perform rapid assessments and intervene appropriately for post-anesthesia complications.
- Administer medications, IV fluids, and pain management per provider orders.
- Provide patient education on post-surgical care, activity restrictions, and discharge instructions.
- Document assessments, interventions, and progress accurately in the EMR.
- Collaborate with anesthesia providers, surgeons, and perioperative teams to ensure smooth transitions of care.
Required Qualifications:
- Active RN license for OR state.
- BLS, PALS and ACLS required;
- Minimum 2 year of PACU experience.
- Strong competency in post-anesthesia monitoring and rapid-response skills.
- EMR proficiency (Epic required).
