Description

Job Description: Travel Registered Nurse – CVOR

Location: Wilmington, NC
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Day Shift | 4x10s (06:15–16:45)
Unit: CVOR (106-1600-18303-CVOR – RN)

Pay Package

Gross Weekly: $2,606
Weekly Stipends: $1,246
W2 Taxable Hourly: $34/hr

Required Experience & Qualifications

Minimum Experience: 2 years RN experience
- HARDSTOP: At least 1 year CVOR experience, OR
- 1 year Main OR + 1 year CVOR
Traveler Experience: Not required
Certifications:
- BLS – Required
- ACLS – Preferred
Preferred Experience:
- Level I Trauma exposure
- Scrubbing cardiovascular cases (preferred but not required)

Skills & Case Experience

Preferred/Required Case Types:
CABG, AVR, MVR, TVR, Aortic Dissection, Aortic Aneurysm Repair, Aortic Root, Carotid Endarterectomy, TAVR, Laser Lead Extractions, Thoracic Procedures, Pericardial Window, ECMO, Impella

Systems: EPIC, Pyxis, SBAR

Schedule & Requirements

Shift: 4×10-hour days (06:15–16:45)
Call: Required — 2 days/week + every 3rd weekend
Float: To Main OR if CVOR volumes are low
Ratios: 1:1

Unit & Facility Details

Patient Population: Adults, Geriatrics
OR Rooms: 3
Daily Volume: Approx. 6 cases/day
Support Services: Respiratory, Radiology, Pharmacy, Transport, RRT, Interpreters
Emergency Expectation: May be assigned to Storm/Hurricane Team
