Travel RN Opportunity - Ottumwa, Iowa

Position Details

• Specialty: Medical-Surgical / Telemetry (MS/Tele)

• Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36 or 48 hours (candidate to specify preference)
• Contract Length: 13 weeks

Unit & Patient Population

• Patient Population: Primarily Adults
• Patient Ratio: 1:6 (with support staff including CNAs and LPNs)
• Float Requirements: May be required to float within a 25-mile radius of the facility
• Electronic Health Record (EHR) System: MediTech

Required Certifications & Licenses

• Registered Nurse License (RN)
• BLS (Basic Life Support) required
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) is a plus but not required
• Mandatory Reporter Certification (Child and Adult)
• NIH Certification

Experience Requirements

• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in Medical-Surgical/Telemetry nursing specialty
• Travel experience preferred but not required

Onboarding & Compliance Requirements

• Must have Iowa SING Background Check cleared (including Criminal and Child Abuse portions) — no exceptions
• All background checks (counties and states) must be fully cleared prior to start; no instant or statewide searches accepted
• Drug test: 10-panel screening including opiates
• Titers must be from the last 12 months
• Start days allowed: Monday or Tuesday
