Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with a strong background in Neonatal Intensive Care (NICU) to join our clinical team for a 13-week contract assignment. The ideal candidate will be skilled in advanced neonatal respiratory care, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and provide exceptional support to infants requiring specialized respiratory interventions.

Shift Details

• Night Shift/12-hour shifts.
• 72 hours bi-weekly. 7 days on/7 days off
• Weekend and holiday rotations may be required
• Opportunities for overtime depending on facility needs

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality respiratory care to critically ill neonates in the NICU
• Manage ventilators, CPAP, HFNC, and advanced neonatal respiratory equipment
• Perform arterial blood gas sampling, analysis, and interpretation
• Assist with delivery room stabilization and resuscitation
• Collaborate with neonatologists, nurses, and multidisciplinary care teams
• Accurately document assessments, treatments, and patient responses
• Follow all facility protocols, safety guidelines, and regulatory standards

Requirements

• Current RRT credential (NBRC)
• Active state Respiratory Care Practitioner license (or ability to obtain)
• NICU experience required
• BLS, NRP certifications required
• Minimum 1–2 years of recent NICU experience
• Ability to work independently and manage high-acuity neonatal cases
