Description
Position / Specialty: Echo Tech
Shift: 7:30a-4p - Monday - Friday
Daily Caseload per tech: Department scans 75-100 inpatient and outpatient echoes per day.
Years of experience REQ: Minimum 3 years experience required
First-timers accepted: No.
Weekend REQ: Will work weekends per department need
Is on-call REQ? None
Special Requirements: Certifications/Licenses: BLS and RDCS - Adults Required. RDCS-Peds Preferred. Work Setting Experience: Inpatient and ER required. Outpatient, Teaching hospital, PICU, Neonate, and NICU preferred. General Skills Experience: Portables and Syngo Required. IV Starts, PACS, and Biopsies preferred
Echo Procedure Experience Required: 3/D Echo, Bubble Study, Contrast Agents, M-Mode, Pharm Stress Echo's, RIT/RVOT, TEE, and Treadmill Stress Echo's. Equipment/Scanner Experience Preferred: Siemens and Phillips
