Responsibilities
Performs diagnostic vascular examinations per physician order.
Operates vascular lab equipment, medical record systems, and imaging systems safely and correctly.
Positions, transports, and moves patients safely during procedures.
Assists physicians with vascular lab special procedures.
Maintains ethical and professional interactions with patients, staff, and physicians.
Ensures compliance with IAC standards and maintains required competencies.
Precepts and trains students and new employees as needed.
Ensures patient safety, comfort, and a positive care experience.
Maintains supplies, performs cleaning/disinfection per hospital policy.
Promotes positive teamwork, communication, and customer-focused care.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Experience
Minimum 2 years of experience under a qualified vascular physician or vascular lab (preferred).
Ability to handle multiple priorities, problem-solve, and make independent decisions.
Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.

Licenses / Certifications
ARDMS RVT certification (preferred) or CCI RVS certification — must be registered within 90 days of hire if not already.
Minimum of 15 CME hours every 3 years per IAC standards.

Education
Graduate from an accredited institution in a vascular technology or related diagnostic ultrasound program.
