Job Description

• Position: Registered Nurse (RN) in the Emergency Room
• Experience Required: 5+ years in Emergency Department (ED); candidates with ICU & ED experience will also be considered.
• Number of Openings: 1
• Shift: Mid (11 AM – 11 PM)
• Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours
• Weekend Hours: Rotating weekends/as needed
• Call Requirements: No

Unit Information

• Facility Name: Sovah Health – Danville
• Number of Beds: 31 beds and 2 triage rooms (7 beds utilized for Behavioral Health or Acute patients)
• Patient Ratios: 1:4 (may vary based on circumstances)
• Electronic Health Record (EHR): Primarily MedHost (ED) and Meditech

Required Certifications

• ACLS
• BLS
• Handle with Care (available on-site)
• NIH
• PALS or ENPC

• Must Have Skills/Experience: 5+ years in Emergency Department
• Preferred Skillset/Experience: Extensive Emergency Room experience
