Job Description – Mammography Tech (Radiology/Cardiology)

Weekly Pay: $2,861 and Local: $55/hr

Position Summary

A Mammography Technologist is needed for a full-time day-shift assignment. The ideal candidate will be capable of working independently, delivering high-quality mammography imaging, and providing patient-focused care. This role includes 5x8 shifts and may require floating within imaging departments as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform mammography examinations in accordance with established protocols
• Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout procedures
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation within Epic
• Operate and maintain imaging equipment
• Collaborate with radiologists, nursing staff, and other clinical departments
• Support workflow by floating to other imaging units when necessary
• Uphold all safety and compliance standards

Requirements

• Experience: Minimum experience typically required (unit will confirm)
• Certifications:
  • BLS
  • Appropriate mammography certification (ARRT M preferred)
• Licensure: Active CA license in hand (no pending or temporary accepted)

Scheduling Details

• Shift: Day – 5x8 (08:00–17:00)
• Block scheduling: At manager discretion
• Holiday Expectations: Must be willing to work 2 of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year)
• Travelers may float to sister facilities in the region
