Job Title: Travel Registered Nurse - Neuro ICU 

Location: Castro Valley, California 

Shift: 12-Hour Shifts 

Employment Type: Travel Contract

Job Summary 

We are looking for a highly skilled Neuro ICU Registered Nurse for a travel contract in California. The ideal candidate has specific experience managing complex neurological conditions and is comfortable working in a high-acuity environment with a 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio. Please note: This position requires flexibility to float to the Emergency Department or Central Monitoring if needed.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Licensure: Active California RN License required in hand at time of submission.
• Experience:
  • Minimum 2 years of total RN experience.
  • MUST HAVE at least 1 year of dedicated Neuro ICU experience clearly reflected on your profile/resume.
• EMR: Epic experience is required.
• Certifications:
  • BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS required.
  • TNCC highly preferred.

Shift & Schedule Details

• Schedule: 3x12 Hour Shifts.
• Weekend Requirement: Every Other Weekend (EOW).

Floating Policy

• Scope: Candidates must be willing to float to the Emergency Department (ED), Step Down Unit, or the Central Monitoring Department based on facility needs.
