Job Description

Boone Health is seeking an experienced NICU Registered Nurse for a 48-hour/week night shift assignment. Previous travel experience is required.

Shift: Nights | 19:00–07:30 (12-hour shifts)

Patient Population & Top Diagnoses

Respiratory Distress Syndrome (RDS)
Hypoglycemia
Prematurity
Rule-out sepsis
Transient Tachypnea of the Newborn (TTN)

Special Procedures Performed on Unit

Circumcisions
PICC line removal
Assistance with lumbar punctures
Assistance with neonatal eye exams

Common Medications

Iron supplements
Vitamin infusions
Caffeine
Antibiotics

Common Equipment

Ventilators
Giraffe beds/warmers
Feeding pumps
IV pumps

Float Requirements

RNs may be required to float based on census to:

MCH (Mother/Child Health)
Postpartum
Newborn Nursery
House-wide sitter assignments
