Trauma Level: Level III Trauma Center
Total Beds (Hospital): ~373
ED Beds: 64 treatment spaces
EMR: Epic
Local Radius Rule: Locals accepted (<75 miles at local rate)
Start Date: January 26
Position Overview
MVHS is seeking an experienced Emergency Department RN for night shift coverage in a large, high-acuity ED caring for patients across the lifespan—from newborn to geriatric. This is a fast-paced Level III trauma environment requiring strong critical-care skills, confidence with pediatrics, and the ability to float as needed.
Charge capability is highly preferred.
Shift & Schedule
- Nights: 6:30 p.m. – 7:00 a.m.
- Block scheduling not guaranteed
- Floating required
- Scrub color: Navy blue
Experience Requirements
- 2+ years recent ED experience
- Some pediatric ED experience required
- Travel experience required
- Epic experience required
- Charge experience highly preferred
- Must be comfortable with high-acuity adult and pediatric emergencies
Certifications Required
(Must be active at submission)
- ACLS – AHA
- BLS – AHA
- PALS – AHA
- NIHSS
- TNCC (must be in hand)
