Description

Job Description: ICU Registered Nurse – Nights (NOC Shift)

 

Position Summary

The ICU Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing safe, effective, and compassionate care to critically ill patients. This role requires strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, and the ability to respond quickly to patient changes in a high-acuity setting.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver direct, evidence-based nursing care to critically ill patients.
  • Perform continuous monitoring, assessments, and timely interventions.
  • Utilize and interpret advanced ICU monitoring equipment.
  • Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to manage patient care plans.
  • Document patient status, care provided, and outcomes in EPIC EMR.
  • Maintain compliance with facility policies, safety standards, and infection control guidelines.
  • Participate in rotating weekends and holiday coverage as required.

Required Qualifications

  • Active, unencumbered Oregon RN License (must be active at submission).
  • BLS (AHA) – required.
  • Minimum 1 year of recent ICU experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • ACLS (AHA)
  • PALS
  • TNCC
  • Previous ICU travel experience.
