Job Opportunity: RN GI Lab / Endoscopy

Location: Elmira, New York

Job Description

• Support a growing GI service line with advanced GI procedures.
• Must have experience with ERCP, EMR, and EUS.
• Call responsibilities: usually once a week and every 6th weekend, with flexibility to switch with team members.

Required Certifications & Licenses

• BLS (AHA only) – Required before onboarding
• ACLS (AHA only) – Required before onboarding
• State Nursing License Verification – Must be completed within 30 days prior to start
• Driver’s License or State ID – Valid and current US ID required

• Arnot Core Competency Exam (score 80% or higher)
• Arnot Resume (account for all employment and education in last 7 years)

Required Personal Health History & Immunizations

• COVID-19 Vaccine: Optional, but proof or declination recommended
• MMR: Positive IgG titer or 2 vaccine series required; must show results for each component
• Fit Test: Must be completed prior to start and within last 12 months; specific mask models required
• Hepatitis B: Positive antibody titer, 3 vaccine series, or Arnot-specific declination form required
• Influenza Vaccine: Required or Arnot-specific declination form (mask required if declined)
• TB Test: Must have recent testing (PPD or Quantiferon) within last 12 months; follow-up for positives may require chest x-ray
• Varicella: Positive IgG titer or 2 vaccine series required; must show results
• Tdap: Preferred within last 10 years; if not available, Arnot-specific declination form required
• Physical/Health Statement: Within last 12 months; must include physician credentials, vitals, and statement of no restrictions

Additional Notes

• All documentation must be current and complete prior to onboarding.
• Call schedule and coverage require communication and flexibility within the team.
• Compliance with Arnot Health policies and procedures is mandatory.
