Department: Echocardiography | Echo Tech
Radius Rule: 100 miles
Start Date START DATES ARE NOT FLEXIBLE -
Certification Requirements: ARDMS. - Specialty Certifications: ARDMS-RDCS, CCI-RCS. -
How many scanners/rooms does this department have: 5 scanners-Phillip EPIC CVX. -
Will they have to float/cover any other areas: No -
Common types of imaging: ECHO-3D. See a lot of pediatric- peds experience preferred, NICU-preferred but not required. Inpatient and Outpatient, CVOR- special procedures-watchmen, TAVR, TEE. -
Experience: 2 year experience, 1st time travelers ok. -
Average # of studies per day: 8-10 per day if outpatient, as needed on inpatient units.
EMR &/or PACS: EPIC. Phillips-Intellispace Cardiovascular. -
Is there a Radiology Supervisor or Lead Tech on each shift: Charge Echo Tech. -
Do they use RRAs: No -
Cardiology in-house for stats: Yes- will read stats in house real time, use Phoenix Children's to read stat peds. -
Do they have to start IVs?: RN will start IV's for "bubble test". RN will assist with Definity test. -
Shifts & Scheduling: 7a-5p. -
Weekend Requirements: Every other weekend. -
Holiday Requirements: Up to 2 of the 3 winter/summer holidays. -
Call or Standby requirement: 5pm-7pm if have pediatric experience- will take call, if no peds experience will not take call. -
Scrub Color: Hunter Green. - How many shifts of unit/department specific orientation: One day NEO, 2 days on floor orientation.
