Travel RN – Interventional Radiology (IR)

Location: Albuquerque, NM
Start Date: 02/23/2026
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Days, 3×12 (06:00–18:30)
Weekly Pay: $2360
Hours: 36 hours/week (facility may call off up to 3 times per contract)

Position Overview

The Interventional Radiology RN will support a Level I Trauma and Teaching Hospital, providing high-quality patient care during IR procedures. This role requires strong critical-thinking skills, the ability to work independently, and prior IR experience.

Requirements

Minimum 2 years of Interventional Radiology RN experience
Active NM or Compact RN License (pending accepted)
Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, PALS
First-time travelers: Not accepted
Must live 75+ miles from the facility
RTO: More than 7 days requires manager approval

Key Responsibilities

Assist with diagnostic and interventional radiology procedures
Provide patient care pre-, during, and post-procedure
Monitor patients under sedation
Maintain sterile technique and procedure readiness
Collaborate with physicians, technologists, anesthesia, and nursing teams
Float within scope if needed
