Travel RN Opportunity – Cath Lab Cardiac Procedures

Location: Elko, Nevada
Employment Type: Travel

Facility & Unit Overview

Department: Cath Lab (Cardiac Procedures)
Number of Openings: 1
Shift: 7 AM – 5 PM
Weekly Hours: 40 hours guaranteed
Weekend Hours: On call every other weekend
Call Requirements: 10 shifts per month
Patient Population: Adults
Number of Beds: 1 Cath Lab bed
Patient Ratio: 1:1
Equipment Used: Cath Lab Merge, GE, Volcano, Impella, Balloon Pump
Electronic Health Record (EHR): Medhost

Contract Length

13 weeks

Required Qualifications & Experience

Current RN License
Certifications: BLS, ACLS
Minimum 1 year of experience
Previous experience working in a cath lab required
Preferred: Experience circulating cardiac procedures

Job Responsibilities & Expectations

Occasionally float to assist in the Emergency Room (ER)
Handle common diagnoses such as MI’s (STEMI, NSTEMI), unstable angina
Must be a good team player

Additional Information

Dress Code: Black scrubs provided by hospital; street clothes not allowed
Must be located more than 60 miles from the facility to qualify as travel
