We are currently hiring an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) – ICU for a contract assignment in Palm Springs, CA.
Job Details:
- Position: Registered Nurse – ICU
- Location: Palm Springs, CA
- Unit: ICU – Med/Surg/Cardiac
- Shift: Night Shift | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
- Employment Type: Contract
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-acuity, comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients
- Perform continuous patient assessments, including cardiac and hemodynamic monitoring
- Administer and titrate IV medications, drips, and manage ventilators
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
- Respond promptly to emergencies and changes in patient condition
- Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the EMR
- Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and progress
Required Qualifications:
- Active RN license (CA or compact, as applicable)
- Minimum 2 years of recent ICU experience (Med/Surg/Cardiac ICU preferred)
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Strong critical-thinking, clinical, and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous travel or contract experience
- Experience working in a fast-paced ICU environment
