Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Respiratory Care Practitioner (RRT) with pediatric experience to join a fast-paced acute care environment. This role involves delivering high-quality respiratory therapy services across pediatric patient populations while collaborating closely with the medical team.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer prescribed respiratory therapy treatments
• Perform invasive and non-invasive diagnostic testing and patient monitoring
• Document treatments and patient responses accurately in the EMR
• Provide age-appropriate respiratory care, including pediatric patients
• Respond to cardiac and respiratory emergencies as part of the rapid response team
• Maintain and ensure proper functioning of respiratory equipment
• Serve as a clinical resource to physicians and healthcare staff

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited Respiratory Care program
• Active Respiratory Care Practitioner license (OK or eligible)
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential (or ability to obtain within required timeframe)
• BLS (AHA) required
• ACLS required within 3 months of start
• Pediatric or critical care experience preferred
• Ability to work effectively in high-acuity settings
