ER Travel Nurse – Baylor Scott & White Hospital Sunnyvale

About the Role

Baylor Scott & White Hospital Sunnyvale, located in Sunnyvale, Texas, is seeking an experienced Emergency Room (ER) Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel assignment. This position offers the opportunity to provide critical patient care in a fast-paced environment while gaining valuable experience in one of Texas’s leading healthcare systems.

Assignment Details

• Facility: Baylor Scott & White Hospital Sunnyvale – Sunnyvale, TX
• Start Date: December 29, 2025
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Schedule: 19:00 – 07:30 (12-hour night shifts)
• Hours: Standard contract, 36 hours per week

Responsibilities

• Deliver emergency care to patients with acute medical conditions and trauma.
• Perform rapid assessments and initiate appropriate interventions.
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to stabilize and treat patients.
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with hospital protocols.
• Educate patients and families on care plans and discharge instructions.
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and evidence-based practices.

Minimum Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
• 2+ years of ER experience in an acute care setting.
• Strong clinical assessment skills with the ability to respond quickly in high-pressure situations.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Travel nursing experience in ER or critical care units.
• Advanced certifications such as ACLS, PALS, and TNCC.
• Adaptability to diverse patient populations and clinical environments.
